PhD with Bioethics Concentration
The Religion Department at Baylor University offers a specialized track in Bioethics.
Each year, the program takes up to two students. During their coursework, students take doctoral courses in theology and ethics, along with specialized courses in the Religion and Philosophy Departments, including theological bioethics, philosophical bioethics, neuroethics, current issues in bioethics, science and technology ethics, and more.
Students also take a clinical practicum, where they have the opportunity to shadow clinical ethicists and clinicians in local hospitals.
