2024 National Bioethics Bowl
The National Bioethics Bowl is an intercollegiate competition in which students from universities and colleges around the U.S. debate tough ethical issues in medicine, biotechnology, and healthcare. Students prepare for the event by studying a set of cases and crafting their own arguments for their positions on each case, which they present in debate rounds at the bowl. (Here is the 2024 packet)
At the 2024 National Bioethics Bowl, teams compete in several rounds of debate. In each round, two teams debate; each team is presented with a case and offered the opportunity to present their position, hear the reply from the opposing team, and respond to the opposing team and to judges.
